307-316-7473  which shows up on most cheap generic caller I/D's  is Actually  11307-316-7473
Which is a over seas spoofed number and Guess what ? YOU CANNOT BLOCK IT!  NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN!
ATT can't even block it cause their sorry POS system only Blocks  10 Digit Number's  Not 12 .
These  Thieves  POS's and basic Trash  people use the Caller I/D Spoof with 12 Digits to Hound you People to Hell and Back and  until Phone Service Providers Can get OFF their Fat Lazy  A**'s  and  Fix their systems  your just SCREWED!
and if if they are Able to Block 12 Digits on spoofed or any numbers  other wise?
these Criminals already got in in the plan to just ADD another  Digit inline. on the Spoof.
Thieves Will be Thieves and all you can do is put your phone on silent and just ignore them
I  have 9 Spoof  Crooks that have called me Religiously  for over 7 years with 11 and 12 Digit numbers.
and until you can get a police Report filed  and  then File it with your phone provider and have them do a Trace?
to gain the actual Number they are calling From  Then You can Never block it.

I didn't answer call so I'm not sure what they're scamming, but it mostly likely the same as the above.
They hung up on answering machine.

#3 Other

Absolutely not true! All they have to do is plumb in numbers to a dialer or computer and go for it. They have no need to purchase a list from any one and the DNC has to be paid for.  There is a protocol for that.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

Report your callers here, not just to the DNC alone:

I keep getting calls with this long list of numbers as the name. They are very aggravating. I have asked to be removed from their call list but that doesn't seem to work.

#5 Other

Never answer, life alert will NEVER call you! Why should they? You can easily google their number or wait until a commercial come to get their number.

Scammers will doop you any way they can!

I asked them if they were a legit business and they assured me they were.  I then asked if the followed the law in their calls and they said they did.  I asked if they observed the do not call list and they said "absolutely".  I told them I have been on the list since it's inception and obviously they were NOT a legitimate business and told him "Don't call again A***ole.  He hung up.
If someone cold calls you and you're on the DNC list, you KNOW they aren't legit of follow ANY laws.  Off to report this to the FTC, for whatever good that will do.

We don't care who they are. We will not vote for, donate to, nor purchase from anyone who calls our house nor pulls into our yard.

Robocall - Caller ID says "Life Alert", but as soon as you pick up the recording starts with a female voice hawking their crap. It's another med-alert for seniors scam. If you're a senior, buy your medical alert from a reputable company, not on the basis of a stupid robocall that insults your intelligence. Since this is the first call reported, I won't block it, but if they call again I will.

#12 Other

Folks, telemarketing scams are the new email spams. They are not going to stop and they will call from a variety of numbers and use a variety of scams. Blocking the numbers are completely useless, the criminals will use another number tomorrow, and the next day, and the day after that. Speaking to them is a no-no! They are criminals. Criminals do not care. So do not press any buttons to be taken off their list. Just recognize the call and don't pick up and report the call.

The caller ID is always a dead giveaway that the caller on the other end is a scammer. It is always an unsuspecting caller calling from an unknown number. Caller ID is generally wireless caller or Unknown caller or unknown name-or some other random unsuspecting caller id, like the name of a city or state. If you have not done business with them, don't fall for their scam. Never ever ever do business over the phone. Never ever ever do business over the phone. Repeat repeat, repeat.

Know the signs!!! Once you get a scam call you will get many many many many more. Just ignore the calls and report them to the appropriate authorities. Please report. Also, and more importantly, please warn others, especially the elderly and the gullible!

The criminals are looking for personal information and credit cards. There is no service, no reward, no company, no free device, lowering of credit card rate, computer fix, no medical alert and etc. Nothing but theft. Never ever give out personal information over the phone. Never ever give out personal information over the phone. Please repeat. Especially do not provide information over the phone to callers that call you!

Be smart folks, know the signs, do not provide personal information over the phone, warn others, ignore the calls, and report!!!

these people steal a legit phone number so that you will answer it.  The Phone companies and government can do nothing about it because they are overseas.  They haven't figured out a way to stop them from stealing real numbers.  My number has been stolen  so I have told my friends not to answer.  if it's really me, I'll leave a message.  This has nothing to do with the DNC list  these are crooks trying to get your credit card numbers.  If you answer the call they know they have a live number.  Then they sell you to everyone.    Just keep blocking these numbers.  A real person will leave you a message if it's important.

#14 Other

scammers don't care about the Do Not Call List. They are criminals. The number will change soon as well as their pitch. If people would STOP giving personal information over the phone then these calls will become unprofitable to the scammers.

I dialed the wrong number once, apparently it was this company, I meant to dial a Social Security Administration.
This company calls almost every other day.
I push "5" on my dial, which is supposed to take my name off the list.
This has been going on for over 3 months.
I actually started talking to a person today and she hung up on me.

#16 Unknown

A home security system.

robocall from 307-316-7473 caller ID said "LIFE ALERT" on Thursday 08-28-14 @  210 PM.

message already going talking about seniors falling and dying and you need to press 1 to talk to a representative
or press 9 to be removed,
pressed 1 and the message came on the line and said "You are the 53rd call in line waiting for a representative - thank you for your patience. then 44th call waiting......then 43rd, 41st, 40th, and then 37th call waiting.
taking to long to talk to a live SCAMMER so decided to hang up

Amen, sadly there are a lot of people who fall for these obvious scams every single day. Hence, why the calls continue and the numbers and disguise change.

(307) 316-7473 Robo call recorded 4 September 2014 ("Recently there were 281,000 hospital admissions for hip fractures...free medical alert alarm..." SCAM)
Caller ID: "Cheyenne WY"

also calls from: (586) 231-3657

New variation of the "free medical alert alarm" offer starting with a statistic that there are recently 281,000 hospital admissions for hip fractures and 1 out of 5 sufferers die within a year. This is scary enough to make me hold on to my credit card and not get a system from a stranger calling my phone to quote hospital statistics about fractures.

Of course they ignore the Federal Do Not Call list, which certainly tells us something about their business ethics, doesn't it?

Here is a transcript of this "free Medical alert" offer:

[me:] Hello?

[they:] "Recently there were 281 thousand hospital admissions for hip fractures among people age 65 and older and one out of five hip fracture patients die within a year of their injury. Don't gambol with your personal health and safety. Get a free medical alert system shipped to you for free with no charge for activation but you must act now. Press one to get your free system. Press five to be removed but to be protected 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, press one now." [7 second pause] "Good bye.".

[At least they didn't say "...laying on the floor..." or "...for help just press a buh-uhn..." Gotta give them credit for this, lol.]

I just got a call from this number.  I did not answer and they did not leave a message.   Since they did not leave a message I assume they are telemarketers and so I have added this number to my blocked call list.

My phone number has been on the National Do Not Call Registry since August 2003 so if they are telemarketers, they are violating the law.

To block calls like this I got a Panasonic KX-TGE245B that allows me to block up to 250 numbers and/or area-codes.  Panasonic has several new 2014 models that will block that many numbers.  You simply save the CID to the blocked list.  You can also block area codes by adding them to what they call a “Range List” (you are blocking the range of numbers starting with that area code).

This number is probably the front for a a very large scam group in Cheyenne WY. The Wyoming authorities do nothing about them because they are one of many "shelf corporations" that set up a presence to establish a "cover" address.

#23 Missed Call

Missed the call and no voicemail left.

#24 Other

Received call from this number several times. Caller ID said it is from Life Alert.  Went on website, not their number.

#25 Telemarketer

I'd have to be really stupid to purchase anything from a cold call.  I wonder what their statistics are like?  Maybe 2 in 1000 calls?  Someone has to fall for this stuff in order to make it worth the scammer's time.  I also wonder if this is a generational thing.  If I'm going to purchase something, I go to the internet and do as much reading as I can.  If I didn't have that tool, I'd be vulnerable.

trying to sell crap

Initial call was a robo stating they were calling for Natasha Smith and that this call would serve as her official notification from county mediations. If she wished to change to date of mediation she was to contact them back at 844-724-7952 reference case number CR212051, or you may remain on the line... I had a minute so I remained on the line. When they answered, I told them if would be difficult to make an official notification to someone,  if they had the wrong number. She asked  for my number (figured I might as well give it to her... they obviously already had it), so I gave it to her. She told me my number would be removed from their list... riiiiight.... then I blocked their number.

I received a call from this number as well a minute or two ago. No message.
